Dr. Elgin Tan has been trading since his undergraduate days. As a then amateur trader pursuing his degree, he learnt many hard lessons along the way, which contributed to shaping the competent trader he has become. Over at Imperial College London, Elgin read Electrical and Electronic Engineering for his first degree and then proceeded to a Masters and then a PhD in Quantitative Finance.

Post-PhD, Elgin was hired by the US investment bank, Goldman Sachs to be their market risk manager. He was stationed at the bank's European headquarters in London until 2009 when he left to start out on his own.

Mr. Alex Pang is an entrepreneur who has started businesses in diverse fields ranging from books to eco-agriculture to real estate. In recent years, he has also taken an interest in high-tech startups and has been involved as a mentor-cum-angel investor to several of these firms.  He is a great believer in education and is convinced that teenagers will do so much better in life once equipped with the foundations of personal finance and a better understanding of risk.

Alex graduated with first class honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, London. He jointly manages an investment portfolio with Elgin.
